Criteria: Best client

The winning agency will persuade the judges that the customer they have submitted is the premier client to work for in the South African market.

30% Spend
The client spends a compelling amount of money on digital (incl. media).
50% Digital savvy
The client “thinks digital” and creates opportunity for the agency to create exciting and innovative work.
20% Working relationship
The client has contracted its agencies in a way that makes working with them rewarding for both parties.

 

In order to judge this award, the following material is required from entering agencies:

  • Verifiable financial reports showing the spend by the customer over the period. This information will be rated by a third party and will NOT be shared with competitors or members of the DMMA
  • At least 5 examples of client platforms or campaigns which show the kind of work that has been possible for this customer. Testimonials from agency and client giving a clear indication of why this client has digital savvy and how they create the opportunity for great, successful work to be done. Submission may be in any format
  • Documentation and/or presentation explaining how the relationship is contracted and how the client manages its relationship with its agency suppliers. Information provided must be specific and verifiable
  • Client contacts for independent consultation by judges
