Overview

The categories are slightly different from last year to reflect the current media environment and dynamic shifts in our industry. The distinction between media owners and agencies has made way for an outcomes-driven approach in four key focus areas: product, craft, achievements and special honours, and individual and teams.

Experienced industry leaders, representing both the publishing and agency world, will judge three of the four areas. But you get to vote on who makes the “Individual and Team awards”, after which the judges will make the final call.

Category structure

There are four main clusters to choose from:

01 Product awards
This cluster covers all the public-facing forms of digital marketing – i.e. what the user experiences. It includes websites, microsites, mobisites, advertising, search, social media, apps and tools, games, video and audio, and mixed media.

02 Craft awards
These awards are more industry-focused on input, in terms of skill and expertise. Designed to recognise the contributors who excel in editorial; interface, design and navigation; graphic design, illustration and animation; music and sound design; and tech innovation.

03 Achievements & special honours
Pay tribute to the pioneers who lead the charge – from agency to client, publishing house to individual contribution.

04 Individual & team awards
And lastly, a chance to celebrate the people/teams that raise the bar. We are looking for the Tall Poppies across the spectrum: editorial, advertising, creative, media (planning and social marketing), search marketing, content and intern/student.

Now all you have to do is find the categories that suit you… and enter!
